From coral reefs to urban lakes: Insights from the field

Spending time in the field offers a perspective that no report or virtual meeting can replicate. These visits are a crucial way to understand how our partners translate finance into tangible environmental outcomes and how local communities, ecosystems, and science come together in practice.

Field Visit to the Banggai Islands

Our team recently had the privilege of welcoming partners from Milkywire, UK Blue Planet Fund, and BNP Paribas for a two-day field visit in Banggai, Indonesia. Together, we travelled from Luwuk to the remote community of Lumbi Lumbia aboard our low-impact ecotourism vessel, the Bajau, operated by Nomad Archipelago.
