A Year of Impact
Discover the Blue Alliance Marine Protected Areas 2025 Annual Report.
At the end of 2025 Blue Alliance was managing 2.1 million hectares of coral reef ecosystems across the Coral Triangle and East Africa in places vital for food security and where science identifies as the reefs most likely to survive climate change and repopulate the surrounding reefs.
We are proud of our achievements in 2025 and are encouraged to keep deepening our impact. In the words of Executive Director & Co-founder, Nicolas Pascal: “By 2030, we aim to manage 9 million hectares, regenerating 5% of the world’s coral reefs. We will not reach that goal unless our impact remains verifiable, replicable, and honest. Thank you for your trust in this work. We do not take it lightly.”
